Guru Nanak Jayanti is on Friday i.e. 15th November. This festival is celebrated with great pomp in many countries of the world including India. If we talk about holiday on this day, then there is holiday on this day in many places. According to the calendar of the Reserve Bank, banks also have a holiday on this day in many states. If you are going to the bank for some work on 15th November, then check whether there is a bank holiday in your state or not.
When is the bank holiday?
All bank holidays are on every second and fourth Saturday and every Sunday of the month. Apart from this, banks also remain closed on national holidays. Sometimes there is a holiday due to elections or some other special reason. However, the Reserve Bank gives information about this well in advance.

If you live in these states then do not leave your house on 15th November for any bank work. Get your work completed either on 14th November in Nippa or next week.
Continue service through these services
Bank of course on 15th November Will remain closed but many services related to banking will continue. These include online banking to ATM service etc. There is no need to go to the bank to avail these services. These services can be used 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Online Banking: You can use the online banking facility by logging into your bank’s website to check balance, transfer money and pay bills.
UPI Service: Currently, UPI is quite popular for online transactions. You can do online transactions through platforms like Paytm, Google Pay, PhonePe etc.
ATM Service: If you need cash, you can go to any nearest ATM and withdraw cash from there.
