Matagunwa police arrested 2 accused along with 4 kg ganja and motorcycle.

Chhatarpur Police is continuously taking action under the de-addiction campaign, illegal drugs are being confiscated and the accused are being sent to jail, and the process of formal disposal of illegal drug Ganja is being done.
During night road patrolling, Matagunwa police station received information about smuggling of illegal drug Ganja from Matagunwa Bijawar Road. Police station Matgunwa took immediate action and reached Bijawar Matgunwa Road near village Kudan. Seeing the police team, the suspect tried to return the motorcycle. Stopped and checked on suspicion. On searching the bag, it was found to be filled with illegal drug Ganja. Illegal narcotic ganja, quantity of about 4 kg, worth about Rs 60 thousand and the motorcycle used in smuggling, including the total value of about Rs 1 lakh 25 thousand, were seized and both the accused were taken into custody.

A crime was registered under NDPS Act in Matagunwa police station against both residents of village Shirshi, Patna, Sunwani police station, district Panna. Upon interrogation, information has been received about the involvement of other accused. A crime of illegal ganja is already registered against the accused Ram Avtar Vishwakarma in Sunwani police station, District Panna. The accused are being produced before the court. The search and investigation process for other accused is ongoing.
In the said proceedings, under the guidance of SDOP Bijawar Mr. Shashank Jain, station in-charge sub-inspector Virendra Raikwar, assistant sub-inspector Dhaniram Tiwari, head constable Rammilan, Mukesh Kushwaha, constables Kuldeep, Rajendra, Pankaj and Satish played the main role.
