Vande Bharat Express coming from Visakhapatnam to Durg narrowly escaped an accident at Nuapada Road in Odisha. According to the information, Vande Bharat Express was going from Visakhapatnam to Durg at around 10 pm last night. Meanwhile, due to the alertness of the loco pilot of the train, he saw a big stone on the railway track and stopped the train about 100 meters before the railway level crossing gate.
After stopping the train, the loco pilot informed the station master about this. Soon the railway employees reached the spot and removed the stone from the track, after which the train movement became normal after about an hour. A team from Nuapada police station also reached the spot and started investigating the matter to find out who had placed the stone on the track and why. At the same time, people appreciated the alertness and wisdom of the loco pilot, due to which a potentially tragic accident was averted.
