Raipur
Voting for Raipur South Assembly by-election will be held tomorrow on Wednesday. Votes can be cast from 7.30 am to 6.00 pm. Administrative preparations for this have been completed. Police patrolling and Election Commission are keeping a close watch. At the same time, the political parties and candidates contesting the elections have also put all their strength into their preparations.
2 lakh 71 thousand voters of Raipur South will exercise their franchise. 253 main polling stations and 13 polling stations have been created for voting. The number of women voters is more than that of men. There are more than 1 lakh 37 thousand female and 1 lakh 33 thousand male voters here.
This time special preparations have been made by the administration in the polling stations. Arrangements of chairs and water etc. have been made for the voters. All the polling teams left for the polling stations on Tuesday. Polling stations have also been taken under security cover. Since voting is taking place in only one assembly constituency, leaders and workers will be in a rush to create an atmosphere in their favor and get the voting done. Therefore, the administration is in a mood not to show laxity of any kind and if you show even a little cleverness, you may have to be directly cited.
Congress and BJP have tried hard to increase the voting percentage here. Around 56 percent voting took place in this seat in the assembly elections. Apart from this, the Election Commission has also launched an awareness campaign to vote. Special relaxation has also been announced for voters in hotels and restaurants. This facility will be available for the next 6 days.
