Kadambini tells that she was inspired by the idea of body donation by her relative, former MLA Late. Met Lokendra Yadav. When he died on 8 April 2013 and his body was sent to Raipur Medical College, Kadambini resolved to donate her body. After marriage, when her husband started working in the health department, she gave actual shape to this decision with his help.
Both Lokesh and Kadambini say that after joining the health service, they understood the importance of body donation even more. Sharing his experience, Lokesh said, “Death donation started as a dream of my life, and today I have been able to make it come true.” They also inspire others to do this noble work and tell them that there can be no more virtuous act than helping someone.
