A case regarding divorce from the wife of a railway station master came up in the Chhattisgarh High Court. It came to light that the wife was quarreling on the phone while on duty. To convince him, the station master said, ‘Let’s talk at home, okay’. Hearing this OK from his wife, his companion sent the train in the wrong direction.

Chhattisgarh High Court has approved divorce considering fighting with husband while on duty as mental cruelty. Actually, the station master husband was doing duty, at the same time the wife started quarreling with him on the phone.

The station master said OK after coming home and talking about resolving the dispute, which at that time his colleague station master understood as a signal to leave the goods train. After this he sent the goods train to the Naxal affected area during the restricted time.

Wife deliberately harassed him while on duty

Due to this, the Railways suffered a loss of Rs 3 crore and the station master was suspended. The petitioner is a Station Master in the Indian Railways, resident of Visakhapatnam. Said in his petition- When he was on duty, his wife used to deliberately harass him by calling from his mobile. For this reason he was suspended.

Wife had an affair with a librarian

According to the petitioner, the wife had told at the wedding reception held in the year 2011 that she had a deep love affair with the college librarian, which she could not forget. At home, the wife used to talk to her lover on mobile phone in front of him.

The case was heard in the division bench of Justice Rajni Dubey and Justice Sanjay Kumar Jaiswal. The division bench has granted divorce to the husband considering the wife’s behavior as cruelty against the husband.
