The three-day Chhattisgarh Rajyotsav is starting from today, in which Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will be the chief guest. Folk and Bollywood artists will perform in cultural programs every day, in which singer Shaan will grace the evening with his performance on the first day. The schemes and achievements of government departments have been displayed in the exhibition at the Rajyotsav venue.
The first Rajyotsav of the tenure of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai government will start from today. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will be the chief guest of the inaugural ceremony of the three-day Rajyotsav 2024, which will run from November 4 to 6.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai will preside over the function. Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh will be the special guest in the program. Renowned artists will present colorful and captivating cultural programs in the Rajyotsav. Governor Ramen Deka will be the chief guest on November 5 and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will be the chief guest at the investiture ceremony on November 6.
These programs will take place on the first day
Cultural programs will start at 4.30 pm on November 4. This included glimpses of 12 folk dances by Rikhi Kshatriya’s team, Adivrindam by Mohan Chauhan and his friends at 5.30 pm, regional dance music by Sunil Soni and team at 5.30 pm to 6.00 pm and Naam Ramayana by Vidya Swarvami at 7.15 pm to 7.45 pm. Will go. There will be a performance by Mallakhambh (India’s Got Talent) at 7.45 to 8.15 pm and by famous Bollywood playback singer Shantanu Mukherjee (Shanu) at 8.15 pm.
Bus facility for commuting
BRTS buses have been arranged to reach Rajyotsav Mela Ground in Naya Raipur. These buses will bring people to the fair venue and take them back for three days. People will have to pay a fee of Rs 20 to 25 to reach the fair ground from CBD building and return. These buses will run every half hour from 11 am to 9 pm, and return buses from Rajyotsav Mela Ground to Raipur will be available every half hour from 12:15 pm to 11 pm.
Craft village is being built
During the Rajyotsav, a grand and attractive exhibition will be organized by all the departments at the Rajyotsav site. A craft village is being built here, where various crafts of Chhattisgarh will be available for display and sale. Huge hangars (domes) have been built for the exhibition of government departments in the premises of Rajyotsav venue.
Stalls of government departments will be set up in Hangar-1 and Two, while commercial institutions will exhibit their products in Hangar-3. An exhibition of public sector institutions will be held in Hangar-four. Craft village, food court and Meena Bazaar will be the center of attraction for the common people in Rajyotsav.
