Late Monday evening in Dindori, due to a land dispute, a father and two sons, who were harvesting paddy in the field, were brutally murdered on the spot by opponents. The matter pertains to Lalpur, a feeder village of Manikpur Panchayat of Karanjia development block. 65 year old Dharam Singh Maravi, 40 year old Shivraj Maravi and 28 year old Raghuraj were killed in the dispute. The seriously injured third son Ramraj has been referred to the district hospital for treatment.
On receiving information about the incident, Superintendent of Police Vahini Singh and Additional Superintendent of Police Jagannath Markam inspected the incident site and directed the departmental officers and employees to immediately arrest the accused.
