With the increase in prices, people will be able to get more bank loans. In such a situation, people’s ability to buy properties will also increase. At the same time, the government will also get more revenue.

Buying property in Indore is going to be expensive. The reason for this is that as per the instructions of the government, the guideline rates are being increased in the district for the second time in the year. A proposal has been prepared to increase the guideline rates at 469 locations in the district. Here an increase from 0 to 31 percent has been proposed.

At the same time, 105 new colonies have also been included in the guidelines. The District Evaluation Committee has approved the proposal for increase. Now the general public can give their suggestions till November 4. After resolving the suggestions received, the proposal for guideline will be sent to the Central Evaluation Board.

Guidelines being increased again after eight months

After eight months, guidelines for immovable properties are being increased once again in Indore. In this, such locations have been selected where properties were being registered at prices higher than the prescribed guidelines. After the increase in guidelines on April 1, 2024, properties were being registered at 5154 locations in the district.

Senior District Registrar Deepak Sharma said that the proposal for increasing the guidelines was sent to 469 locations by the Inspector General of Registration, Bhopal. The meeting of the District Evaluation Committee was held under the chairmanship of Collector Ashish Singh on Wednesday.

There was discussion about increasing the guidelines. Such locations have been included where documents are being registered at a price higher than the guidelines. MLA Mahendra Hardia, Dr. Amresh Naidu and other officials were present in the meeting.

In the meeting of the District Evaluation Committee, the proposal to increase the guidelines at 469 locations has been approved. In this, most of the colonies on the outskirts of Indore have been included. The rates of many colonies on Bypass, Kanadia Road, Super Corridor and Ujjain Road are high.

Rates have also been increased in areas like Scheme No. 114, 78, Readymade Market. At the same time, 24 new colonies of Saver tehsil have been included. 21 colonies were also included in Malharganj tehsil. At least two new colonies are from Depalpur tehsil.
