Since January till now, 6 lakh 9 thousand 267 houses were surveyed by the survey team of Malaria Department, out of which larvae were found in 24 thousand 634 houses.
On the instructions of Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Sachin Srivastava, the Health Department team is conducting door-to-door surveys in urban and rural areas as well as making people aware.

So that dengue disease can be prevented, because dengue mosquitoes breed only in clean and stagnant water. It thrives in clean and stagnant water filled in various utensils, tyres, coolers, tanks, pots, roofs and garbage in and around our house. Mosquitoes lay eggs in such water which hatch into mosquitoes within 7 to 12 days.
