Kamla Nagar police station has registered a case against Ashima-Asnani builder OP Kripalani and his associates on Friday under other sections including fraud. In fact, the builder had purchased the land illegally 24 years ago despite not being a member of the Samrat Ashoka Housing Committee. On which he made Rishi Complex a residential colony and even sold the flats.
Extra land was left in this colony, which the builder has fraudulently sold without obtaining building permission. When the complainant who bought the flat came to know about this, he lodged a complaint in the Collectorate and Tehsil office. After a long investigation and based on the evidence found, the police took action.
According to the police, Rajkumar Pandey, a resident of Surya Colony Nehru Nagar, while giving a complaint application, said that Ashima and Asnani builder Omprakash Kripalani had purchased about 39 thousand 204 square feet of land from the Samrat Ashok Housing Cooperative Society located in Kotra Sultanabad in the year 2000, whereas he Was not even a member of the committee. For this he had prepared fake documents.
The builder had built Rishi Complex on most of this land and sold about 17 flats in it. Whereas out of this, three thousand 400 square feet of land was sold to other housing societies and Sheela S Pillai, Mahesh Bal and Rajkumar Pandey.
When he gathered information regarding this land, he came to know that no building permission of any kind had been taken for construction on it. Whereas during the construction of Rishi Parisar Colony, the said land was left for public use including park, for which fake documents were prepared and sold to the complainant without building permission.
After investigating the case, the police have registered a fraud FIR against builder Omprakash Kriplani, Jaya Kriplani, Vishan Ashnani, Manoj Bulchandani, Lalji Sharma and others. Police said that preliminary investigation has been started by registering an FIR in the matter. Also, the accused will be summoned to record their statement.

Rajkumar Pandey told that Ashima and C-21 Mall owner OP Kripalani along with their associates have committed not one but many frauds. Despite not being a member of the Housing Committee, he bought land and sold it several times to different Housing Committees and people. Not only this, even the land left for building parks, temples and social buildings was sold. A complaint was made to the Collector and Tehsildar in this matter. Last year, when the demarcation was done during the time of the then Collector Ashish Singh, the reality came to light.
When the phone number of builder Omprakash Kripalani was discussed in this matter, it was told that he was not aware of any kind of fraud and FIR being registered.
On the complaint of the complainant, an FIR for fraud has been registered against builder OP Kripalani and his associates. The accused will be interrogated in the case and documents will be asked from them. After investigation the accused will be arrested.
