A 31-year-old woman was brutally murdered on the day of Karva Chauth in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh. Some eyewitnesses saw this horrifying scene at the private bus stand. The woman has been identified as Geeta Thakur. The police have taken the accused husband Raja Thakur into custody. Raja has been accused of murdering his wife by stabbing her. However, after being caught, Raja told a different story to the police.

Accused husband told another story

A small child was also present near the bus stand at the time of the accident. According to the information, the child is the son of a bus owner. Raja drives their bus. The child told that it was the king who stabbed his wife in the stomach. Some other eyewitnesses have also accused Raja of murder. But Raja says that he had a dispute with two other people. The same people stabbed the wife.

A dispute broke out after the arrival of two people

The deceased Geeta Thakur was a resident of Futera Ward 2. Eyewitnesses say that Geeta and Raja were sitting at the bus stand. Just then two people came there. After this there was a dispute between the king and those two people. Meanwhile, the king took out a knife and attacked his wife. After getting injured, he was immediately taken to the hospital. Where the doctors declared him dead.

Police officer Anand Singh, who reached the spot, said that the accused husband said that the murder was not committed by him but by two other people. Other people present at the bus stand say that it was Raja who stabbed Geeta. The police have taken the accused into custody. The accused is being interrogated. The investigation of this entire matter is going on. Police further said that the accused husband is under suspicion. The situation will become clear only after the investigation is completed.
