Madhya Pradesh Sports Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang had recently suggested the formation of a National Sports Tribunal to Union Sports Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya to easily and quickly resolve the growing disputes between sports associations. On which he has given assurance.
At present, due to disputes in many sports associations, a large number of talented players are being lost. Regarding this, State Sports Minister Vishwas Sarang had met Union Minister Dr. Mandaviya in August.
Sports Minister Sarang had participated in the General Body meeting of the Sports Authority of India held in New Delhi and had suggested setting up a National Sports Tribunal to resolve the ongoing disputes between sports associations. Now the Union Sports Ministry has emphasized on the establishment of National Sports Tribunal soon.
With the formation of the National Sports Tribunal, disputes related to sports associations and players will be resolved within the time limit. On Thursday, Union Minister Dr. Mandaviya held a key stakeholder consultation meeting with the Indian Olympic Association (IOA), National Sports Federations (NSF) and National Sports Promotion Organizations (NSPOs) to discuss the draft National Sports Administration Bill 2024.
During this, he stressed on the establishment of Sports Tribunal and said that by empowering athlete-centric federations, introducing safe sports policy and establishing an Appellate Sports Tribunal, we are creating a strong framework which will not only advance our players But it will also strengthen India’s position on the global sports stage.
The suggestion for setting up a tribunal was presented to Union Minister Mandaviya.
In fact, in the month of August, Minister Sarang met Union Sports Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya in New Delhi and discussed the loss being caused to players and sports due to the dispute between sports associations and suggested the formation of a National Sports Tribunal. On which the Union Sports Minister took the suggestion seriously and assured the formation of a tribunal.
