How is the relationship between Congress and NC after the elections, Omar Abdullah told the latest situation

Congress and National Conference, which contested elections together in Jammu and Kashmir, may remain separate in the government. It is being said that Congress has decided to support the government from outside. At present, nothing has been said officially regarding this. Here, Omar Abdullah, who is going to take oath as Chief Minister, has said that everything is fine between Congress and NC.

Talking to news agency PTI, Abdullah said that Congress is not out of the cabinet. He said, ‘It is for them to decide and we are in discussion with them. I will not fill all the 9 vacant posts of the Council of Ministers. Some vacant posts will be left, because we are in talks with Congress…. Everything is fine between Congress and NC.

He said, ‘If this had not happened then Kharge ji, Rahul ji and senior Congress leaders would not have come here. His presence shows that the alliance is strong and we will work for the people. In the recently concluded Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, Congress had won 6 seats and NC had won 42 seats. There are a total of 90 assembly seats in Jammu and Kashmir.

He said, ‘Gone are the days when you used to see 40-45 ministers. I remember that time, may his soul rest in peace, in the year 2002 of Mufti Mohammad Sayyed, almost all the MLAs were ministers or had ministerial status. It is not so now.

Abdullah is scheduled to take oath as the first Chief Minister of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir after the victory of the National Conference-Congress alliance in the first assembly elections held after the abrogation of Article 370. Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha will also administer the oath of office and secrecy to the ministers at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Center (SKICC).
