Controversy over ‘Halloween Party’ in Medical College Building in Indore, Congress’s Ranchhod candidate accused

Controversy escalated on Thursday over the alleged unauthorized organization of a ‘Halloween party’ by a social organization in a nearly 150-year-old building on the campus of Government Mahatma Gandhi Medical College, Indore. A police officer said that the doctors’ organizations, angry over the organization of this party in the historical building, lodged a complaint at Sanyogitaganj police station demanding registration of a case against the organisers. After BJP leader Akshay Bam was seen in the photos of this party, Congress is also attacking and has accused the party organizers of getting patronage from BJP.

The officer said that in this case, two organizations of teachers and former students of the medical college lodged a joint complaint in the police station. According to the police, the complaint demands that an FIR be registered regarding the organization of a Halloween party by the local organization Jain Social Group on October 13 in the building of ‘King Edward Medical School’, which was started in the year 1878 during the British era.

The complaint said that for this party, obscene drawings were allegedly made on the walls of the historic building and strange slogans were also written.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Tushar Singh told PTI, ‘We will ask the management of the medical college as to whose permission the Halloween party was organized in the historic building. We will take appropriate legal action in this matter after investigation.

Dean of Medical College, Dr. Sanjay Dixit said that he has issued a notice to Jain Social Group regarding the alleged Halloween party and sought immediate reply. Dixit claimed that he had not given any permission to this social organization for such a party.

Meanwhile, an alleged picture of this Halloween party has surfaced on social media in which local Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Akshay Kanti Bam is seen with people dressed as ghosts. Regarding this matter, Congress state unit spokesperson Neelabh Shukla alleged that the presence of the bomb in this party shows that its organizers have the protection of BJP and FIR is not being registered against them only due to pressure from the ruling party.

Bam rejected Congress’s allegations and said that he had nothing to do with organizing this party.

Let us tell you that in this year’s Lok Sabha elections, Akshay Bam was declared Congress candidate from Indore, but giving a big blow to the party, he withdrew his nomination on April 29, the last date for withdrawal of nominations and after that he immediately joined BJP. Had joined. Due to which Congress was out of the electoral race for the first time in the 72-year history of this seat.
