A tragic incident has come to light in Korba district of Chhattisgarh. Here two people died due to electrocution after coming in contact with an electric wire laid for hunting wild animals. Both the men had gone fishing and while returning touched the wire.

Police officials said that two villagers, Narayan Kanwar (35) and Tikeshwar Rathiya (32) have died due to electric shock in the forest of Bela village under Balko police station area of ​​the district. Kanwar and Rathiya had gone to Tapra village for fishing on Monday. When he was returning to his village Bela in the evening, he got hit by an electric wire and died on the spot due to electrocution.

Police officials said that information has been received that to hunt the wild animal, the hunters had passed current through the GI wire and left it in the forest, due to which both the villagers came under the grip. He said that after receiving information about the incident, a police team was sent to the spot and the bodies were sent for post-mortem. The bodies were handed over to the relatives after post-mortem this morning.

Police officials said that the police have registered the case and search is on for the people who were laying wires in the forest and passing electric current.
