In fact, Paytm CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma faced criticism for a particular comment during the tribute. After this he had to remove his post. A screenshot of Sharma’s deleted tribute is now going viral. In the deleted post, Vijay Shekhar Sharma has written for Ratan Tata – A legend who inspires every generation. The next generation of entrepreneurs missed out on meeting India’s most humble businessman. Salute, Sir. Okay, Tata, bye-bye.

Although Vijay Shekhar Sharma’s post paid tribute to Ratan Tata, the last line of his post, “Ok Tata bye bye”, was widely criticized. Most of the users were pointing towards the use of dignified words for Ratan Tata on this post. Many social media users expressed their disapproval on this. One user wrote – Must have got it written by an intern. Another wrote that this is not the right way.

Ratan Tata is no more

But he never appeared in any list of billionaires. Tata was a corporate giant with a simple personality, while he lived like a saint due to his decency and honesty. Tata never married.

However, this happened four times when they were about to get married. This happened once when he was in America. His demise has left a vacancy at the top of Tata Trusts, which owns 66 per cent of the group’s holding company Tata Sons. Ratan Tata’s half-brother Noel Tata is being seen as a strong contender to succeed him.
