After this, Bajrang Dal officials reached the spot along with the workers. They handed over the Muslim youth along with the chicken to the police. During this period there was a lot of commotion.
On Friday, the second day of Navratri, big media houses of the city started organizing Garba festival on Khajrana bypass. During this time, two Muslim youths reached there with non-veg food to eat. Someone gave this news to the Bajrangis. After this, Bajrang Dal officials reached the spot along with the workers. They handed over the Muslim youth along with the chicken to the police. During this period there was a lot of commotion. According to Bajrang Dal Indore department coordinator Praveen Darekar, Bajrang Dal is keeping an eye on the Garba events being held in the city. This is so that non-Sanatani youths do not create disruption in the Garba Pandals and Durga Pandals ready to worship the Mother Goddess.
In the same sequence, yesterday Bajrangi had reached the event organized by three main Garba pandals of the city, Hotel Water Lily, TGN Garba Group and a media group at Khajrana Bypass. When Garba was found on film songs at Hotel Water Lily, the organizers were explained and made aware about organizing Garba on religious songs to worship the Mother. Everything was organized in TGN Garba group, but when the media group doing business in the name of worshiping Bajrangi Ma reached the Khajrana bypass event, they found a lot of irregularities there. Many Muslim girls were performing Garba in this event.
During this time, news was received that two youths had arrived at the event with non-veg (chicken) to eat. Both those youths were caught immediately. As soon as the news of chicken arriving at the Garba event spread, anger spread among the organization’s district coordinator Lucky Raghuvanshi, district minister Ankit Maurya and other workers. As soon as the news of the uproar was received, ADCP Zone-2 Amarendra Singh, ACP Khajrana Kundan Mandloi reached the spot along with the police team. The situation was controlled by pacifying the Bajrangis and the alleged Muslim youth were caught and taken to the police station. The police also recovered chicken bags from the accused and kept them in the car.
When the policemen were taking the Muslim youth to the police station, he was repeatedly saying that he was an electrician. He has installed lights at the event. He had brought chicken for his meal, but Bajrangis were angry that if he had to eat, he would have eaten it anywhere outside. Such actions will not be tolerated during Garba event. The Bajrangis also lashed out at the Garba organizers.
Hanuman Chalisa recited at the gate
After the entire incident was resolved, on Saturday morning a large number of Bajrangis reached the venue of the five-day Garba event going on at Khajrana Bypass. There the Bajrangis recited Hanuman Chalisa in front of the gate. The Bajrangis said that the organizer has nothing to do with the customs, festivals and sentiments of the Hindu society. They just want to do business. That is why Garba is done without the Ghatasthapana of the mother.
