Jain Welfare Board will be formed for the welfare of Jain community in Madhya Pradesh, which will be the first such board in the country. This decision was approved in the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. Apart from this, additional assistance amount was also approved under Rani Durgavati Scheme.

Jain Welfare Board will be formed for the welfare of Jain community in Madhya Pradesh. This is the first board of its kind in the country. The formation of the Welfare Board will give impetus to the economic, social and educational development of the Jain community. The Cabinet on Saturday approved the formation of Madhya Pradesh Jain Welfare Board.

According to this decision taken in the Council of Ministers (Cabinet) meeting in honor of the unprecedented contribution of Veerangana Rani Durgavati at Singrampur in Damoh district under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the board will have a chairman and two members. The tenure of the board will be fixed for two years for Shwetambar and two years for Digambara community.

The Cabinet approved a maximum additional assistance of Rs 3900 per hectare under the Rani Durgavati Shri Anna Protsahan Yojana. It was decided to give this assistance amount to the farmers’ account through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) in addition to the minimum purchase price paid by the federation to the farmers on purchase Kodo-Kutki by the federation formed under the plan year 2024-25. Apart from Chief Secretary Anurag Jain, about 22 ministers were present in the meeting.

By converting the six autonomous nursing training institutes operated under the Medical Education and Public Health and Family Welfare Department into government nursing training institutes, all the 428 posts already approved for the autonomous nursing college will be administered under the service recruitment rules of the department.

Welcoming the new Chief Secretary Anurag Jain on behalf of the Council of Ministers, the Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh will benefit from the experience of working in the Prime Minister’s Office and important departments of the Government of India. In the meeting, the Cabinet expressed gratitude towards retired Chief Secretary Veera Rana.

Rani Durgavati Memorial and Garden will be developed

Approval of formation of committee: The cabinet approved the formation of committee to develop Rani Durgavati Memorial and Garden. Panchayat and Rural Development Minister, Public Works Minister, Tribal Affairs Minister and Culture and Tourism Minister will be members in the committee. There is a plan to develop 24 acre area of ​​Madan Mahal hill located in Jabalpur as Rani Durgavati Memorial and Garden at a cost of about Rs 100 crore. Decisions on bronze statue of Rani Durgavati, open air theatre, arts and crafts zone (crafts, metal and terracotta), food zone with availability of local food, water-conservation structures, cafeteria and film production will be taken by the committee.

Minister, MLA will worship weapons on Vijayadashami

This year, a weapon worship program will be organized on Vijayadashami in the name of Lokmata Devi Ahilya Bai, a symbol of women empowerment. The Chief Minister himself will participate in the weapon-worship program at Maheshwar, the ruling place of Goddess Ahilyabai. The Chief Minister asked the ministers and MLAs to perform Shastra Puja in their assembly constituencies and districts. Programs will be organized across the state on Vijayadashami.

Road show to be held in Hyderabad on October 16 to increase investment in Madhya Pradesh

To increase investment in the state, a road show will be held in Hyderabad on 16th October. Mining Conclave will be organized in Bhopal on 17th and 18th October and Rewa Regional Industry Conclave on 23rd October. According to the unemployment data of the Government of India, Madhya Pradesh’s unemployment rate is the lowest in the entire country at 2.6 percent.
