Tamil Nadu BJP leader K Annamalai has shared an old photo of PM Narendra Modi and superstar Rajinikanth on his X handle. While sharing the photo, K Annamalai wrote – “Our Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken an update on the health of Rajinikanth ji from Mrs. Lata Rajinikanth over phone. The Honorable Prime Minister was informed about Rajinikanth’s health after the surgery. The Prime Minister has wished for his speedy recovery.”

Rajinikanth was admitted to Apollo Hospital. According to the information given by the hospital, there was swelling in the main blood vessel going to his heart, which was cured by non-surgical method through trans catheter. At the same time, the doctors had completely sealed the swelling by placing a stent in Iota. Superstar Rajinikanth was admitted to the hospital on September 30.
