Sharadiya Navratri 2024: Arrangements are being made for the convenience and easy darshan arrangements of the devotees in the Devi temples during Navratri in Dharamdhani Ujjain. On the nine days of Navratri, there will be a special sequence of Abhishek, worship, adornment and aarti of the Mother Goddess in major goddess temples. Light lamps will be installed in Harsiddhi Shaktipeeth, Gadhkalika and Bhukhi Mata temple for the entire nine days.
Shardiya Navratri, the festival of worshiping Goddess, will start from 3rd October. Preparations for the grand festival are almost complete in the goddess temples of the city. In Shaktipeeth Harsiddhi Temple, entry of visitors to the sanctum sanctorum will remain closed for nine days of Navratri. Lamps will be lit with the help of devotees on nine days of Navratri in Gadhkalika, Harsiddhi and Bhukhi Mata temples.
Shaktipeeth Harsidh Temple
There will be no Shayan Aarti for nine days. Navratri will start with Ghatasthapana on the morning of 3rd October at Shaktipeeth Harsiddhi Temple. After this, the goddess will be adorned daily for nine days. According to the tradition of the temple, there will be no Shayan Aarti for nine days of Navratri. Special consecration and worship will be done in the night. Aarti will take place at 7 in the morning and 7 in the evening. During Navratri, the lamp will be lit every evening at 7 pm with the help of devotees.
Temple Administrator Tehsildar Radheshyam Patidar said that a collective lamp will be lit during Navratri. Any devotee can get the lamp lit by getting a government receipt of Rs 3100 printed. There will be attractive electrical decorations in the temple on the great festival. Arrangements for drinking water, matins and shoe stands have been made for the devotees.
Siddhapeeth Garhkalika
Devotees will perform Kumkum Puja and grand preparations are being made for Shardiya Navratri at Siddhapeeth Gadkalika Mata Temple. The work of cleaning and painting the temple is in its final stages. Also attractive electrical decorations are being done. Temple administrator Moolchand Jatwa said that Aarti has special significance in Gadhkalika Mata temple. There is a special sequence of Aarti for nine days of Navratri.
Morning Aarti will be at 12 noon and evening Aarti will be at 6.15 pm. During the nine days of Navratri, devotees can also perform Kumkum puja of Mata Gadhkalika. For this it is mandatory to get a government receipt of Rs 250. During Navratri, a lamp is also lit during the evening aarti every day. There is a fixed fee of Rs 3100 for lighting the lamp. Special arrangements have been made for the convenience of devotees during Navratri.

Devotees will be able to light the lamp. Special preparations are being made for Navratri in the Bhukhi Mata Temple located on the banks of Shipra on the outskirts of the city. Priest Hemant Chauhan said that the Municipal Corporation has made arrangements for cleanliness and electricity around the temple. The work of cleaning and painting the temple has been completed.
Ghat Sthapana will take place in the morning on 3rd October on Ashwin Shukla Pratipada. Aarti will be performed every day at 8 am and 7.30 pm. On the nine days of Navratri, lamps are lit during the evening aarti. Currently the booking of Deepmalika is going on. Any devotee can book for lighting the lamp for Rs 5100.
