Sample of the month – Avujam, a folk musical instrument of Andhra Pradesh, is being showcased as the exhibit of the month under the ‘Exhibit of the Month’ series at the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya. Can be seen in the Vithi complex from 11 am to 6 pm. Besides, an exhibition focusing on the folk and tribal art and culture of Assam has also been organized here.
Picture exhibition – Exhibition-cum-sale of paintings of Bhil community painter Sunita Bhavor is being organized in the Likhandra Gallery of Madhya Pradesh Tribal Museum. This 53rd Shalaka Painting Exhibition can be seen from 12 noon to 08 pm.
Khadi festival – Khadi Utsav-2024 is being organized by Madhya Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board at Bhopal Haat till 8th October. In this Khadi Utsav, Khadi and village industry products from different states of the country are available in one premises. Besides, various cultural programs are also being organized here every evening. Timings are from 01 pm to 10 pm.
Acting Workshop – Presentational acting workshop is being organized by Hum Theater Group at Mayaram Surjan Bhawan. In the 45-day workshop, a play will be prepared by giving training in physical exercise, body movement, voice modulation, improvisation, speech, make-up and director etc. Participants above 16 years of age can take part. The time is from 5 pm onwards.
Military film screening – The military film The Vibrant Youth will be screened at 6 pm on the open stage of Shaurya Smarak. This film is based on NCC Camp on Republic Day.
