Flights to Sharjah operate from Devi Ahilyabai Holkar International Airport four days a week. 456 kg bitter gourd was sent in 120 boxes by a flight to Sharjah late on Saturday night.
This bitter gourd has been sent to Dubai by a Bhopal company. This flight will reach Sharjah and from there will go to the Central Fruit and Vegetable Market of Dubai. Due to closure of direct flight to Dubai, bitter gourd has been sent to UAE by Sharjah flight.
It is noteworthy that the new cargo terminal at Indore Airport is built in two parts. Domestic cargo terminal is built in 1700 square meter area and perishable cargo terminal is built in 300 square meter area. Due to perishable cargo, it has become easier to send perishable goods within the country and abroad.
