Bhopal
Temporary checking points have been set for vehicles entering the state from inter-state borders. This arrangement has been made keeping in mind the convenience of motor owners. Earlier integrated check posts were functioning at inter-state borders. Various departments, mainly Mineral, Forest, Transport and other departments, were being checked at these check posts. Due to the joint investigation work, vehicles coming from other states were facing problems. In view of this problem, the Transport Department is now checking the documents related to transport at 45 checkpoints. With this system, complaints received during checking at check posts have almost been eliminated.
