Secretary of Public Health Engineering Department Mr. Mohammad Qaiser Abdulhaq today reviewed the progress of the work of the mission in the districts under Bilaspur division with the Director of Jal Jeevan Mission Mr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure and gave necessary instructions. In the meeting, he asked to complete the transfer process soon by getting every household water certification done in Ekal Gram Yojana. He instructed to start water supply in villages soon by ensuring source in sourceless schemes.
Secretary of Public Health Engineering Department, Mr. Abdulhaq, in a review meeting held at Bilaspur Zila Panchayat, gave instructions to install chlorinators as per standards in the RCC high level tanks constructed in the villages under Jal Jeevan Mission, to start the construction of unstarted high level reservoirs soon, to provide suitable source for the solar pumps being installed by CREDA, to complete the work of geo-tagging soon and to test the water of all the water sources through lab and FTK and enter it in IMIS.
In the meeting, departmental secretary Mr. Abdulhaq also directed all executive engineers to complete the work of testing the quality of post-monsoon water within the stipulated time and to complete the work of group water supply schemes in progress in Bilaspur division within the time limit. Additional Mission Director of Jal Jeevan Mission Mr. S.N. Pandey and Chief Engineer of Bilaspur region of Public Health Engineering Department Mr. Sanjay Singh along with Executive Engineers of Bilaspur, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, Mungeli, Korba, Janjgir-Champa, Sakti, Raigarh and Sarangarh-Bilaigarh were present in the review meeting.
