Hardeep Puri praised PM Modi’s leadership and said- ‘India has become the third most powerful country in Asia’

New Delhi
India has become the third most powerful country in Asia for the first time. This information has been given in the ‘Asia Power Index-2024’ released by the Australian think tank Lowy Institute. India has reached the third position by defeating superpower countries like Russia and Japan. With this, India is now behind only America and China in the world. Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri gave his reaction on this report. He has attributed India’s lead in the ‘Asia Power Index-2024’ to the visionary leadership and global strategy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Praising the country’s growing power, he said, “India’s rise is no surprise. It is a direct result of Prime Minister Modi’s aggressive diplomatic strategy and his bold ambitions to reclaim India’s place in the world. Without his leadership, India would still be lagging behind, but today, we see a nation on the verge of superpower status.”

Union Minister Hardeep Puri said, “It is PM Modi’s tireless efforts on the world stage that have put India back on the map. He has taken India’s non-alignment policy and turned it into a powerful tool to leverage in global diplomacy.”

He further said, “However, in a country like China, the number of people is increasing and China is facing recession. At the same time, India under the leadership of PM Modi has the resources and leadership to emerge as the new kingmaker of Asia. Those who question the impact of PM Modi on India’s rise need only look at the facts. India’s progress is ahead and the world can no longer ignore it.”

The senior BJP leader also attacked the previous Congress governments and said, “The indecisive and directionless approach of the previous government left the country directionless. He said that the Indian economy will be the third largest by 2043 and PM Modi is guaranteeing that this will happen during his tenure. In fact, the IMF has recently projected that India will be the third largest economy by 2027. Under the leadership of the previous governments, India would never have made it to the top three in any power index.”
