The training program for newly arrived trainee rural horticulture extension officers was launched

Horticulture and Food Processing Minister Shri Narayan Singh Kushwaha inaugurated the training program of Rural Horticulture Extension Officers at Administration Academy Bhopal. In the seven-day training, Rural Horticulture Extension Officers will be made aware of departmental work. In the first session of the training, Principal Secretary Administration Academy Director General J. N. Kansotia, Principal Secretary Horticulture Shri Anupam Rajan, Director Horticulture Shri Shashi Bhushan Singh, Mrs. Nanda Bhalave Kushre, Deputy Director Academy Dr. Anadi Mishra Training Director and departmental officers were present. A total of 184 new REHOs will be trained. In the first batch, 30 trainees are being trained.

Minister Shri Kushwaha said that training is required at any level in life, whether it is an administrative officer or a political personality. During work, we come across departmental files, tender process, law related matters, knowledge of which is very important. Horticulture Department is like a family. Here it is also our responsibility to solve the problems of the family. Shri Kushwaha said that we are constantly thinking about the various problems of the Horticulture Department. There is a shortage of human resources in the nurseries operating at the district level and rural levels, work is also being done to fill them soon. He said that farmers constantly look towards nurseries with hope, hence modernization of nurseries is very important for the better future of farmers.
