Raipur,
The dream of a permanent house for poor families is coming true through Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. They are getting relief from the problems faced in kutcha houses. Ajay Shikari of Jenjradih village, a dependent village of Bhardaiyadih Panchayat of Kota development block of Bilaspur district, said that earlier his house was made of mud, due to which the family had to face many problems. It was difficult to live in a kutcha house during rainy days due to water dripping and dampness. Along with this, there was also a danger of insects and poisonous creatures in kutcha houses.
Ajay Shikari of Jenjradih said that now he will get relief from all these problems by getting a permanent house under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural). Under the scheme, he has received the money for house construction in four installments directly in his bank account. His house is now rapidly moving towards completion. Mr. Ajay Shikari says that for poor families like us who do daily wage work, getting a permanent house is no less than a dream. With the help of the government, one of our big dreams is getting fulfilled. He expressed gratitude to the state and central government for this public welfare sensitive scheme.
