A grand and divine couple honour ceremony was organised at Utsav Garden situated on Narmadapuram Road on the arrival of Rajyogini Brahmakumari Usha Didi from Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya’s international headquarters Mount Abu in Bhopal. 65 couples of Brahmakumaris Blessing House Bhopal were honoured in this grand and divine event. These 65 couples have been practising the divine knowledge and easy Rajyoga being imparted at the Brahmakumaris institute for the past many years. They listen to the Gyan Murli held at the Brahmakumari institute’s service centres every day. They perform Rajyoga meditation for world peace. They also adopt divine qualities in their lives. They take out time from their work and do divine service. These 65 husband-wife couples were honoured today at Utsav Marriage Garden situated in Narmadapuram Bhopal and in a grand divine ceremony. The couples were beautifully decorated in the presence of internationally renowned speaker Rajyogini Usha Didi who had come from Mount Abu. Usha Didi also told them about the characteristics and limits of married life. And the couples were honoured in various ways.
While addressing the program, Rajyogini Usha Didi said that couples are an example for the world. There is no need to leave home to attain a high position in the devotion and worship of God. Couple means those who fulfill double responsibilities. One is the responsibility of home, family, office, business and the other is the responsibility of world welfare. Didi said that ordinary family life becomes a sacred family life only by following the divine upbringing of Param Pita Shiva and following his knowledge. She blessed the couples to follow the divine path and work for world welfare. The life of the couples should be full of truth and cleanliness. They have to serve with their heart and mind to make India a heaven. Couples should never earn money through wrong means because the food prepared from money earned through wrong means impures our thoughts.
Dr. Prakash Singh Thakur and Mrs. Kamala Thakur of BK, a couple who have been members of Brahma Kumaris for more than 40 years, said that they have been living a life of divine discipline for the last 40 years. Seeing us, our two daughters have also voluntarily dedicated their lives to Brahma Kumaris and are serving in it. God has filled our lives with all colours and has given us every happiness of life. How can we thank Him in words? By honouring us in today’s Yugal Samman Samaroh, Dr. Reena Didi of BK has increased our enthusiasm manifold. Shantanu Karkoon and his wife Sonali Karkoon came in contact with Brahma Kumaris in 1996. Shantanu Karkoon told that he had done his engineering degree from IIT and was working in a very high position in government and non-government institutions. During that time, he got the knowledge of Brahma Kumaris. Dr. Reena Didi of BK had conducted a seven-day course at that time. Since then, we feel that we are children nurtured in the lap of God. The solution to every problem of life is contained in Rajayoga.
Brahma Kumaris couple member BK Ghanshyam Ji and his wife Prabha Ji told that both of them are senior citizens. Sometimes they become very ill. Thank you in words. In today’s Couple Honor Ceremony, Reena Didi not only honored us but it also shows her spirit of cooperation towards senior citizens. Our family is very happy with today’s honor. Shiv Kumar Ji and his wife Savitri Ji, residents of Mandideep, tell that before joining Brahma Kumaris, the condition of their house was not good. We got guidance from Brahma Kumaris’ Reena Didi and Manju Didi on every problem of life. Today, we and our family are free from problems with the knowledge of Supreme Father Shiv Baba. Couples are like two wheels of a chariot. When both the wheels of the chariot work together for a single purpose without any feeling of animosity then the work yields good results. A large number of people from Bhopal arrived to take benefit of the program. In the program, BK Dr. Rawendra Bhai presented a poem in honor of the couples and welcomed everyone and also explained the objective of the couple honor ceremony before everyone. BK Ram Bhai, Ram Bhai Junior and Toshu of the organization presented a beautiful Kabbal dance.
