In the case of explosion in front of army train in MP, the accused turned out to be a railway employee; RPF is interrogating


In the case of the blast in front of the army’s special train in Burhanpur district of Madhya Pradesh, a railway employee has been taken into custody and is being questioned. The accused works as a gangman at Sagfata railway station. A case has been registered against the employee for endangering the lives of passengers, stealing railway property and using it unauthorizedly. The railway police presented the accused in the district court today. After getting his PR from there, he was taken to the spot by the police for further questioning.

A case was registered for theft and endangering life

Khandwa RPF station in-charge Sanjeev Kumar said that in this case a case has been registered under 6/2024 under section 3 RPUP Act 1966 Amendment 2012. In this, Sabir father Shabbir, who worked at Gang Number 14 Sagfata, was not posted on duty that day. The accused has stolen railway property, so this is also a case of theft of railway property. Along with this, a case related to deliberately endangering the safety of a passenger traveling in the train has also been registered under Railway Act 153.

Railway detonator was used in the incident

Let us tell you that on Sunday late evening, the railway had issued a statement in this matter saying that the detonators used in the incident belonged to the railway, but the reason why they were used is being investigated. Minister Vishwas Sarang called it a sensitive issue and said that he would be able to say something only after the investigation report comes. He has also said that the opposition, including the Congress, is trying to make political gains out of this. At the same time, Khandwa MP Dnyaneshwar Patil has also refused to consider it a terrorist incident for now and has asked to wait for the investigation report.
