Recently, a ‘Military Special Train’ had to be stopped for some time after a detonator was planted on the railway tracks on the Delhi Mumbai railway track in Madhya Pradesh. The incident took place on Wednesday near Sagphata between Nepanagar and Khandwa station. After this, the train was sent off after inspecting the track. The train driver had reported the incident to the Bhusaval division. After this incident, Railway Protection Force, local police and security investigation agencies reached the spot on Saturday.

Chief Public Relations Officer of Central Railway Swapnil Neela said that these detonators were provided by the railway itself. These are firecrackers for general use. The railway uses them as indicators in special circumstances. The loud sound of these firecrackers alerts the driver.
Why plant detonators in clear weather?
Swapnil Neela said that when these crackers burst, a loud sound is produced which signals the driver that there is an obstruction, fog or mist ahead. However, why they were used in clear weather is a matter of investigation. The railway official said that there was no unpleasant situation due to clear weather, nor was there any justification for bursting them. Then why were these crackers burst.
