Wasim Tigale, a young man living on Maulana Azad Marg in Barwani city, has sent a letter with triple talaq written on it through post to his wife living in her maternal home in Khandwa. After this, his wife has filed a case against him in Khandwa’s Kotwali police station. It is being told that the couple’s relationship was not good since a few days after their marriage. Both of them got divorced after a few days. However, after mutual agreement, both of them decided to live together by marrying again. But after a few days there was a dispute once again and the woman was living in her maternal home for about two years.
Meanwhile, the woman reached the Khandwa Kotwali police station and filed a case against her husband, alleging that her husband tortured her by giving triple talaq. Now he has refused to accept her as his wife. A case has been registered against the woman’s husband. Meanwhile, the woman’s husband Wasim also alleged that he did not divorce her by saying talaq 3 times at once (talaq e biddat), which is illegal. He divorced her according to Muslim law by following the Talaq e-Hasan process, that is, by sending three letters one by one through post in three months. He told that he is upset with his wife since 2019. His wife is demanding money from him. When he refused to give money, she is implicating him in a false case.
