Chhattisgarh-Health Minister Shyam Bihari started a campaign in Raipur, cleanliness is the door to prosperity


Raipur.

Hon’ble Minister of Public Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education, Chhattisgarh, Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, while launching the “Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign, planted “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”. On this occasion, he said that cleanliness is essential not only at the individual level but also at the community level. Clean surroundings and clean environment are the basis of prosperity and better health.

While interacting with the villagers during the district level Jan Samasya Nivaran Shivir, Mr Jaiswal said that cleanliness is the key to prosperity and healthy life. He said that cleanliness is directly related to economic development, social upliftment and overall welfare of the people. If we keep our village, locality and city clean, not only diseases are prevented, but it also promotes tourism, business and employment opportunities.
During the Jan Samasya Niwaran Camp, the Health Minister administered the Swachhata Pledge to all the dignitaries present. He said that only by being aware of cleanliness and by donating labour, we can establish a clean and healthy society. He requested everyone to walk step by step in this campaign and make cleanliness a part of their life. Everyone ensured their participation in this campaign and by collectively donating labour, took a step towards making the Swachhata Abhiyan a success.
