Bhopal. A self-defense seminar for girls was organized by Urmil Shikshan Prashikshan Samiti and Amateur Karate Association Madhya Pradesh on Thursday, September 19 at Jawahar Navodaya School, Ratibad. The main trainers in this were Urmil Shikshan Prashikshan Samiti Secretary Sensei Brij Gopal Singh and Sensei Geetika Ratnaparkhe (Black Belt Third Degree).
In this seminar, girls were given training on good touch and bad touch, how to avoid kidnapping, how to detect hidden cameras, how to protect yourself from cameras in the changing room, how to protect yourself without weapons in adverse situations and how to use the things available with us as weapons etc. PTI and women teachers of Navodaya School were also present in this seminar. More than 300 girls participated in this training.
