The MEMU train running from Gwalior to Jaura Alapur will run till Kailaras from 19 September. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and MP Shivmangal Singh Tomar will flag off this train at Jaura Alapur and send it to Kailaras. The 15.8 km track from Jaura to Kailaras was completed about seven months ago. In the month of February, a trial was conducted by running a train on the track from Jaura to Kailaras.
The MEMU train running from Gwalior to Jaura Alapur will run till Kailaras from 19 September. In October last year, train operations were started on this track from Birla Nagar in Gwalior to Sumavali. After this, before the Lok Sabha elections, MEMU train operations were started from Sumavali to Jaura.
The 15.8 kilometer track from Jaura to Kailaras was completed about seven months ago. In the month of February, Railway Safety Commissioner (CRS) Pranajeev Saxena ran a train on the track from Jaura to Kailaras and conducted a trial. The train was run on this track at a speed of 120 kilometers per hour. After this, on September 2, the schedule for running the train till Kailaras was released.
There has been a change in the timing of the MEMU train currently operating from Gwalior to Jaura. According to the new schedule, the MEMU train from Gwalior will leave at 5:50 am instead of 6 am. This train will reach Jaura Alapur at 7:23 am and after a halt of two minutes, will leave for Kailaras at 7:25 am. The train will reach Kailaras at 8:20 am. On the return from there, it will leave at 8:35 am, reach Jaura at 9:03 am and reach Gwalior at 11:05 am.
After this, this train will leave again at 11:25 and reach Kailaras at 1:55 pm. From there it will leave at 2:10 pm and reach Gwalior at 4:40 pm. For the third time, this train will leave at 4:55 pm and reach Kailaras at 7:25 pm and on return it will leave at 7:40 pm and reach Gwalior at 10:10 pm.
Trains running at a speed of 20 km per hour between Dabra-Kotra
Although repair work has been done after the soil erosion on the railway track between Dabra-Kotra last Thursday due to excessive rain, trains are still being run here at a speed of 20 km per hour by giving caution orders. Trains like Vande Bharat Express and Shatabdi Express run at a speed of 130 km per hour, but in this section their speed is being kept at 20 km only.
Apart from this, due to rain, the speed of trains has been reduced between Dholpur-Hetampur and trains are being run on the third line. Earlier the speed of trains here was kept at 20 km per hour, but now trains are being run at full speed on the third line.
