Four coaches of a goods train going to Gharghoda Tilaipali to collect coal from Kotarliya derailed near Tarpali. As soon as the information about this incident was received, apart from senior officials of NTPC, a team of railway officials also reached the spot with their team and are engaged in repair work. A youth present at the spot said that this incident happened around 8 to 9 in the morning.

At the time when this incident happened the goods train was empty and there was no loss of life. An NTPC employee present at the spot said that as soon as they got information about the incident, they reached the spot and started working to bring the bogies back on track. Three bogies of the goods train have been brought back on track. Work is on to bring another bogie back on track, which will be completed within an hour.

Coal transportation takes place in NTPC
It is being told that this railway line is used for coal transportation to NTPC Lara, which is operated in the village of Pusaur block. It is being said that NTPC has suffered a huge loss due to four bogies of the goods train derailing today.
