Governor Shri Ramen Deka was honoured with the Chief Patron Decoration Badge of Chhattisgarh Scout Guide. Today, at the Raj Bhavan, the officials of the organisation made Governor Shri Ramen Deka wear the badge received from the National Headquarters of Bharat Scout Guide and presented him a memento. In a brief programme of Chhattisgarh Scouts and Guides organised at the Raj Bhavan, Governor Shri Deka expressed his pleasure on meeting the officials of the organisation and said that Scouts and Guides always have an important role in the society.
He said that more and more children should be encouraged to join Scout Guide so that discipline and patriotism will be inculcated in them and they will become good citizens of the country. Raipur Lok Sabha MP Shri Brijmohan Agrawal, President of Chhattisgarh Scout and Guide, said that there is a plan to start Scout-Guide scheme in all the schools of Chhattisgarh under the guidance of Chief Patron Governor. Executive President of Scout Guide Shri Rajesh Agrawal gave the welcome speech. State Chief Commissioner of Scout Guide Dr. Somnath Yadav expressed his gratitude. State Chief Commissioner Dr. Somnath Yadav welcomed this former Governor by making him wear the Chief Patron badge. On this occasion, Treasurer Shri Murali Sharma, State Secretary Shri Kailash Soni, Joint Secretary Smt. Shivani Ganvir, State Organization Commissioner Guide Dr. Karuna Masih, State Training Commissioner Guide Smt. Sarita Pandey were present.
