Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma received a call from the villagers in the morning that due to continuous rains, flood-like situation has arisen in the villages of Kholwa and Singhanpuri of Sahaspur Lohara development block. On receiving the information, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma along with Collector Janmejay Mahobe reached village Kholwa and Singhanpuri in the morning and inspected the flood-affected areas. He went to the area and enquired about the well-being of the people and listened to their problems. Deputy Chief Minister Sharma directed the collector to conduct relief and rescue operations speedily.

During this, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma enquired about the well-being of the villagers and discussed their problems with them in detail. Understanding the difficulties of the people, the Deputy Chief Minister assured that the government will help them in every possible way. He said that providing relief and security to all the families affected by the flood is the top priority of the Vishnudev government. Deputy Chief Minister Sharma directed to survey the flood-affected area and said that the Vishnudev Sai government is ready to help the affected people. Soon the damage will be assessed and proper compensation and relief will be provided. Directing the officials, he said that they should complete the survey as soon as possible so that people can get the benefit of relief work.

He also said that immediate supply of relief material will be ensured in the affected areas. He directed the district administration officials to conduct rapid survey work in the flood affected areas and ensure immediate supply of necessary relief material. He directed to make a precise plan to provide help to all the affected families.
