Oil marketing petroleum companies from Manipur to Maharashtra and Kashmir to Kanyakumari have released new rates of petrol and diesel. On the other hand, the price of crude oil has come below $70 per barrel. When the Russia-Ukraine war started, the price of crude oil had reached $130 per barrel. Today, in comparison to that rate, the price of crude has almost halved. According to the rates given on Bloomberg Energy, Brent crude November futures are at $69.58 per barrel, while WTI crude October futures are at $66.18 per barrel. Despite this, even today there has been no change in the rates of petrol and diesel in India.

The union territory selling the cheapest fuel in India is Andaman-Nicobar. Here, the price of 1 liter petrol is only 82.42 rupees. Whereas, diesel is 78.01 rupees per liter. According to Live Mint, the most expensive petrol in India is being sold in Adilabad at Rs 109.41 per liter. In Delhi, petrol is Rs 94.72 and diesel is Rs 87.62 per liter. In Port Blair, one liter of petrol is available for Rs 82.42 and diesel for Rs 78.01. In Lucknow, the price of petrol today is 94.65 and diesel is Rs 87.76 per liter.
