The youth from Nahargarh who was trying to save them is missing. The SDRF team was searching for the missing people till night. On Monday morning around 11.30, 37-year-old Dungar Singh Chauhan, a resident of Morkheda Tehsil Sitamau, was coming from his in-laws’ house in Ruparel to Morkheda with his wife 35-year-old Sangeeta, daughter 12-year-old Yatika and four-month-old son.
The bike went out of control because of the bag
There was water on the bridge of Shivna river, but not much. Due to the bag kept on the petrol tank of the bike on the bridge, the bike went out of control and fell into the river. When the whole family started drowning, Chowkidar Rajendra Singh and Bablu Rasool, resident of Naya Abadi Nahargarh, jumped into the river to save them.
The one who offered a helping hand to save him was also swept away
Rajendra Singh saved Yatika and brought her out. Sangeeta was drowning and she was holding her son with one hand. Bablu tried to pull him out but Sangeeta held his shoulder and he too was swept away along with them.
After about an hour of hard work, the divers retrieved the bodies of Sangeeta and her son from a short distance from the incident site. Dungar Singh and Bablu could not be traced till night. The SDRF team also remained there till night.
