The excellent performance of Indian players continues in Paris Paralympics 2024. Indian athlete Praveen Kumar (T44) has won the gold medal in men’s high jump. This was India’s sixth gold in Paris Paralympics. For the first time, India has won six gold medals in the Paralympic Games. Earlier, India had won 5 gold medals in Tokyo Paralympics.
With Praveen Kumar’s gold medal, the number of medals won by India in Paris Paralympics has now reached 26. India has won 6 gold, 8 silver and 12 bronze medals so far. India has reached 14th position in the medal tally with 26 medals.
