Major accident in a temple under construction in MP, someone’s hand was cut, someone’s rib was broken; one died a painful death


A major accident has taken place in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh. One person has died and five people have been injured when the dome of an under-construction temple collapsed here. The person who lost his life is said to be a contractor. Five labourers have been injured. Police said that the incident took place on Monday afternoon in Mogargaon village under Bistan police station area.

Bistan police station in-charge IS Mujalde said, the dome of a temple under construction collapsed, killing 35-year-old contractor Dinesh and injuring five labourers. Some of them are in critical condition. He said that a pillar was weak due to which the dome collapsed. On getting information about the accident, the villagers immediately rushed to rescue them and admitted them to the hospital.

The construction of this temple was going on for the last 7 months on the banks of Ruparel river. Some injured people said that the river was in spate due to heavy rains on Monday. The civil surgeon of the district hospital said that one laborer’s right hand was cut and he has been referred to Indore for further treatment, while another laborer’s rib was broken. Apart from this, three laborers have suffered minor injuries.
