Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia inaugurated the Regional Industry Conclave by lighting the lamp in Gwalior today. Leading industrialists, investors and representatives from the country and abroad are participating in this one-day conclave organized at Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Agricultural University.

On reaching Gwalior, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav along with Jyotiraditya Scindia garlanded the statue of Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia, a symbol of women empowerment and dedicated to public service. An exhibition has also been set up during the Regional Industry Conclave where many private industries as well as more than 50 industrial organizations including CII, Laghu Udyog Bharati and DICCI have displayed their products.

Today in Gwalior, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav ji paid homage to revered Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia ji, a person dedicated to public service and an epitome of woman power, by garlanding her statue.

Regional Industry Conclave is being organized on Wednesday with the objective of creating a new history of new investment and employment in the Gwalior-Chambal region of Madhya Pradesh, the heart of the country. The conclave will be inaugurated by the state’s Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav at 10:20 am at Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Agricultural University. In the conclave, 10 units in Gwalior-Chambal region have shown interest in investing capital of 2570 crores and providing employment opportunities to 4550 people.

Apart from this, a capital investment of more than two thousand crores is being made by expanding the five units established in the region, in which employment of 3968 people is proposed. Virtual Bhoomi Pujan will be done for 22 units. Trade commissioners from five countries, Canada, Netherlands, Mexico, Ghana, Zambia will also come. Big business groups including Godrej, Mondelez along with Adani family will participate in this conclave. Big announcements are also expected regarding the defense sector in the region.

The main objective of the “Regional Industry Conclave” is to promote investment in the state, accelerate industrial development and establish Madhya Pradesh as a major industrial hub. Here CM Mohan Yadav is going to inaugurate and perform Bhoomi Pujan of many industrial units. Along with this, Chief Minister Yadav will also distribute allotment orders to investors. Through this event, concrete steps can be taken towards empowering the small industries of the state, encouraging MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises), and attracting investors.

There will be stalls ranging from BSF tear gas to Godrej

Exhibition stalls will be set up in the conclave, which include BSF Tear Gas, Godrej Consumer Limited, Modelage India Food Private Limited, JK Tyre, Smart City Gwalior, Surya Roshni Limited, Teva, Stirling Agro Industries, SRF, Vectus, BR Oil, Wavin, Supreme Industries, VRS Foods, Jai Badri Vishal Food Process, Klarion, Marvel, VN Organics, Insta Food, Adarsh ​​Goshala.

Industry heads from 9 sectors have shown interest in bringing their industries to Gwalior-Chambal region. Godrej Company is going to invest Rs. 450 crores in Gwalior. After personal care, now a new unit is going to be started in Malanpur, Gwalior today for extension in home care and hair care.

Karan Adani said, Adani Group is going to invest in 2 million tonne cement grinding unit in Guna and in the defense sector in Shivpuri. This investment will be of 3500 crores. This will provide employment to 3500 people.
