Fighting against injustice is the biggest religion: Chief Minister Shri Sai

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai today participated in the huge Dahi Handi Utsav program organized at Avadhpuri Ground in Gudhiyari of the capital Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai while addressing the Dahi Handi Utsav program said that Lord Shri Krishna has taught us the art of living through his leela. In the Mahabharata, Shri Krishna gave the message of fighting against injustice. Fighting against injustice is the biggest religion. Lord Shri Krishna has taught us the importance of karma.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Shri Krishna was a nature lover. When we remember Lord Krishna, we remember the banks of the Yamuna river, the tune of the flute and the herd of cows. Nature is worshipped in Sanatan Dharma. Trees like Peepal, Banyan etc. are considered worshipable. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has also called for planting a tree in the name of mother. I request everyone to plant a tree in the name of their mother. Our true devotion towards Lord Krishna will also be expressed only when we fulfill our responsibility towards nature by planting a tree in the name of mother.

Govinda groups from different parts of the state participated in the huge Dahi Handi program. Chief Minister Shri Sai broke the Dahi Handi and encouraged the Govinda groups. On this occasion, Revenue Minister Shri Tankaram Verma, MLA Shri Kiran Singhdev, Shri Ishwar Sahu, Guru Khuswant Saheb, Shri Motilal Sahu and Swami Shri Rajiv Lochan Ji Maharaj, Shri Prabhal Pratap Singh Judev, Shri Basant Agarwal and a huge crowd including the members of the organizing committee were present.
