Air India Express has discontinued the direct flight from Indore to Dubai, but is operating flights to Sharjah on four days. This flight, which will start from September 1, will give Indore passengers an additional option to Bengaluru in the afternoon.
This flight will help the passengers of Indore in getting connectivity to other international flights. Along with this, the monopoly of the airlines company will also end. Currently, three direct flights are operated from Devi Ahilyabai Holkar International Airport to Bengaluru.
The flight will be available in the afternoon
These flights operated by IndiGo depart at 5 am, the second at 3.05 pm and the third at 9 pm. Now the Air India Express flight will depart from Indore at 1.30 pm and reach Bengaluru at 3.30 pm.
With this, Air India Express will enter domestic flights from Indore. Travel Association officials say that the airline is working on a plan to start flights to Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata in the winter season.
4 day flight to Sharjah
The airline is currently operating direct flights to Sharjah on four days. Earlier it used to operate two days a week, but due to the closure of Dubai flight, the airline has reduced the number of Sharjah flights to four days. Now only flights to Sharjah are being operated from Indore. The demand for operating flights to Dubai is being made by passengers.
