In Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh, the administration’s bulldozer has been run on the house of the rape accused. The accused had raped the girl for 4 years by blackmailing her by taking obscene pictures and then when the girl got married, he made the same pictures viral by putting them on Whatsapp status. The incident is being reported from Meghdon village and Lalgaon of Chand tehsil of Chaurai assembly constituency of Chhindwara district. Police registered a case against the accused on the complaint of the victim and arrested him. After this, bulldozer action of the district administration was seen on Saturday. On Saturday, the house of the accused was demolished in the presence of officials and police force.
The case of making the girl’s pictures viral is being reported on 10th August, 13 days after which a bulldozer was run on the house of the accused. In her complaint to the police, the victim told that she got married last month i.e. in July this year. She said, my brother Aman Raghuvanshi’s friend Nafees alias Vicky Mansuri used to come to our house. I used to talk to him. It was about 4 years ago in the summer season. Around 11 am in the morning, I and my grandmother were at home. I was taking a bath in the bathroom, at the same time Nafees Mansuri came to the house and started calling Aman in a loud voice. The victim further said, grandmother has poor hearing, so she replied from inside the bathroom that brother is not at home. Then Nafees opened the door of the room which was closed from outside and came inside the bathroom and started taking pictures of her while she was bathing. The victim screamed after seeing Nafees. Nafees said, I have taken your picture without clothes. If you scream, I will show your photo to everyone. After this, he raped the victim inside the bathroom. After this, on the basis of these photos, he kept coming to her house again and again and raping her. The victim said in her complaint, whenever he used to do bad things with me, he used to take my obscene photos on mobile. He had threatened her that if she does not have physical relations with me, then I will defame her by showing her photos to everyone and if she tells anyone about this, then I will kill you and your brother.
The victim said, Nafees threatened me and forced me to do wrong things with him several times in four years. I did not tell anyone for fear of being defamed. Then I got married on 12 July 2024. A week before that, Nafees forcefully did wrong things with me at night and asked me to convert my religion and marry him and left after threatening me. After this, on August 10, Nafees sent me my obscene photo and a photo with him on my WhatsApp number and called me to meet. When I refused, he put the pictures on WhatsApp status. After the complaint, the police had registered a case against the accused under sections 64 64-, 351 -3, 66 E, 64-2 BNS.
What did the police say?
Police said that this case was registered against the accused on 11th August. The family members of the accused were first given a notice to vacate the house built by them in illegal encroachment. When they did not vacate by the stipulated time, the entire administration team demolished this encroachment on Saturday. The administration believes that the accused had built the said house by encroaching on government land.
