Kangana Ranaut’s film Emergency is about to release. Kangana will play the role of Indira Gandhi in this film. Fans are very excited about the film. Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut is busy promoting the film. In an interview given for the promotion of the film, she talked about former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi. Kangana Ranaut was asked which quality of Indira Gandhi she likes and which quality she dislikes.
What did Kangana Ranaut say in praise of Indira?
In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Kangana Ranaut praised Indira Gandhi and said, “One thing I loved about her was that yes, she was privileged, she came from a nepotistic background. After all, she was the PM’s daughter. She held official positions during her father’s tenure. What more privilege can one get in politics? She came from a privileged place but her determination to prove herself was commendable. She may have had a lot of privilege but whenever she was criticised, she proved herself and came out as a winner.”
Kangana did not like this thing about Indira
Kangana was again asked what was that thing about Indira Gandhi that she did not like? On this, Kangana Ranaut said that the former Prime Minister did not have the maturity to handle her position. She said, “The negative thing… struggles created by someone cannot be real. The truth is that she did not face any kind of natural struggle in her life. To deal with this, she was not thinking like a mature person, rather she was in that zone where she was thinking as the PM’s daughter. This was not a good thing because when you are in that chair, you need to be selfless. You cannot work from a place of ego.”
Let us tell you, actors like Shreya Talpade, Milind Soman, Mahima Chaudhary, and Bhumika Chawla will be seen in Kangana Ranaut’s film Emergency. The film is releasing in theatres on 06 September. This film has been directed by Kangana Ranaut herself.
