Finally, the chair of the President of Shivpur Charcha Nagar Palika of Korea district, Lalmuni Yadav, has been lost. It was believed from the beginning that 12 out of 15 councilors are against him. Let us tell you that voting was to be held on the no-confidence motion on 23 August, for which the administration had completed all the preparations a day before. Today, before the voting at 12 o’clock, all 15 councilors went inside the Nagar Palika Bhawan. 12 votes were cast in favor of the no-confidence motion while only 3 votes were cast against it. In this way, Lalmuni Yadav lost his chair. Earlier today, there was a lot of hustle and bustle regarding the voting. BJP’s veteran leader and Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal himself was present during the voting. Apart from this, the presence of a large number of officials and workers including BJP’s local MLA Bhaiya Lal Rajwada was seen. Congress had also formed a committee in this matter. Congress’s District Pradeep Gupta, former MLA Ambika Singhdev along with a large number of Congress workers were also present. After the victory of BJP, Ward No. 7 councilor Jaiswal and Ward No. 5 independent councilor Santoshi Ekka are considered to be the frontrunners for the post of president. Now it remains to be seen whose luck shines, although Arun Jaiswal is said to be the frontrunner in the race.
