Investment Facilitation Centres will be established in every district of the state: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Investment Facilitation Centres will be established in every district of the state, whose nodal officer will be the district collector. This will give a boost to industries. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav received information about the preparations for the Regional Business Conclave to be held on 28 August in Gwalior in a high-level meeting held at the Ministry and gave necessary instructions.

Along with the meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav discussed about organizing sessions of the conclave for investment in various sectors through video conference. About 2500 delegates will participate in the conclave. Participants from other countries including Netherlands, Ghana, Canada, Mexico will also come. Land allocation for industrial units will also be done during the conclave. Energy Minister Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar, Chief Secretary Smt. Veera Rana, Additional Chief Secretary Chief Minister’s Office Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Shri Sanjay Kumar Shukla and other senior officials were present in the meeting.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed to fully exploit the possibilities in the field of tourism, food processing and IT. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that full efforts should be made to invite investors to the conclave. Welcome both local and foreign investors. Know the problems of local industrialists and provide them necessary support. All collectors should keep information about the land available in their districts where industries can be established. Collectors in each district should maintain constant communication with industrialists. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the activities of the support group of small and cottage industries should be increased in each district. Work should also be done in handloom and horticulture. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that collectors should also discuss with the ministers in charge and maintain regular communication. A good environment should be created for the establishment of industries in Gwalior and Chambal divisions. All investment proposals should be deliberated upon and focus should be on implementing them in coordination. Principal Secretary Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Department Shri Raghavendra Kumar Singh gave a presentation in the meeting.

Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsi Silavat, Revenue Minister Shri Karan Singh Verma, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Shri Govind Singh Rajput, New and Renewable Energy Minister Shri Rakesh Shukla participated through video conference.
