Heavy rain alert in 28 districts of Madhya Pradesh, know where it may rain on Friday


The period of Monsoon rains is continuing in Madhya Pradesh, during this period, till Thursday morning, rain was recorded at some places in the districts of Rewa division, at a few places in the districts of Chambal and Jabalpur divisions, at many places in the districts of Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Ujjain, Gwalior and Sagar divisions and at most places in the districts of Indore and Shahdol divisions. During this period, the maximum rain of 130.2 mm was recorded in Paraswada of Balaghat district, whereas Hanumana of Rewa received 108 mm rain. The Weather Department has issued an alert of moderate to heavy rain in 28 districts on Friday.

Talking about the monsoon trough, it is currently extending from Sri Ganganagar, Rohtak, Orai, Sidhi, Gaya to the northeastern Bay of Bengal via the center of the low pressure area over Bangladesh, up to a height of 0.9 kilometers above the mean sea level. As of 8.30 am on Thursday, a low pressure area remains over northern Bangladesh. The cyclonic circulation associated with it is active up to a height of 9.4 kilometers above the mean sea level. Another low pressure area is formed over the east-central Arabian Sea adjoining Karnataka-Goa, the cyclonic circulation associated with it is active up to a height of 5.8 kilometers. There is a possibility of new cyclonic circulation becoming active over the northern Bay of Bengal from August 24.

In the last 24 hours till 8.30 am on Thursday, thunderstorms/strong winds occurred in Bhopal, Vidisha, Raisen, Sehore, Rajgarh, Narmadapuram, Betul, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Khargone, Barwani, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Dhar, Indore, Ratlam, Ujjain, Dewas, Shajapur, Agar, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Guna, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Sheopurkalan, Singrauli, Sidhi, Rewa, Mauganj, Satna, Maihar, Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria, Dindori, Katni, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat, Panna, Damoh, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Niwari.

Heavy rain alert in 28 districts on Friday

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain for Raisen, Betul, Khargone, Barwani, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Dhar, Neemuch, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Singrauli, Sidhi, Rewa, Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria, Dindori, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat, Panna, Damoh, Sagar, Tikamgarh, Pandhurna districts till Friday morning, during which some of these places may receive heavy rain ranging from 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm along with thunder and lightning.

Apart from this, the department has predicted rain with lightning and strong winds in some areas of Bhopal, Vidisha, Sehore, Rajgarh, Narmadapuram, Harda, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Indore, Ratlam, Ujjain, Dewas, Shajapur, Agar, Mandsaur, Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Sheopurkalan, Mauganj, Satna, Katni, Jabalpur, Chhatarpur, Niwari, Maihar districts.

Flood alert issued for 11 places

Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has predicted moderate floods due to heavy rains in some areas of Balaghat, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Central Dindori, Jabalpur, North Mandla, Narsinghpur, South Sagar, Seoni, North Shahdol and Sidhi districts of the state during the next 24 hours. Talking about the weather forecast for Friday in the capital Bhopal, the weather will be pleasant and cloudy. During this time, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with lightning and thunderstorms.
